Senior leadership participated in a chiefs vs. colonels softball game at the Sports Complex here, June 17.

The ball game presented an opportunity for leadership from all across base to build teamwork and boost morale through friendly competition.

“It’s a good opportunity for us to come out, hang out with the chiefs and have some good-spirited competition,” said Lt. Col. Chad Greer, 20th Fighter Wing director of staff. “At the end of the day these guys are really close partners of ours.”

After seven innings, the chiefs came out victorious with a score of 11-8.

“My philosophy on teamwork is that you’re always going to get better results when the whole team works together versus just having one person who stands out,” said Chief Master Sgt. Dean Harris, 20th Mission Support Group superintendent. “Events like this really bring people together and help build teamwork.”
