SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Members of the Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina community participate in the 9/11 Memorial Run & Walk event at Shaw AFB, Sept. 11, 2026. The goal of the memorial event was to honor the memory of the victims of the 9/11 attacks. The memorial also commemorated the actions of the heroes who responded to the attacks as well as the service members who deployed across the world to combat terrorism in the years that followed.
