Shaw Spotlight: Tech. Sgt. Evan Singleton

This week's Shaw Spotlight is Tech. Sgt. Evan Singleton, 20th Force Support Squadron Airman & Family Readiness Center non commissioned officer in charge.

Singleton has been in the Air Force for 13 years and has been assigned to Shaw for two years.

Singleton was recently recognized with an Air Combat Command outstanding dental NCO of the year.

"He is one of the most hard-working and dedicated individuals I have ever met," said Master Sgt. Brian Melton, 20th Force Support Squadron, Airman & Family Readiness Center, readiness NCO.

Family: Married To Tech. Sgt. Thyiatira Singleton, Airman Leadership School instructor, a 9 year old son Jahmil, and expecting a newborn in June.

Music: Anything that's educational and motivational.

Movie: Book of Eli, Angels and Demons, Run Tel Dat and anything with martial arts and action.

Book: The Bible, Super Chevy and the PDG.

Guilty pleasure: Marble Slab and Dairy Queen.

Goal: Complete my degrees, be a role model for my kids, become a chief master sergeant and finish restoring my 1971 Chevelle.

Biggest accomplishment: I'm still reaching for it, but hearing my Airmen tell the squadron that I was their best supervisor and a great role model.

Heroes: Mother, father, brothers and sisters.

Favorite food: Chinese

Sports: Football and baseball
