This week's Shaw Spotlight is Airman 1st Class Cliffeton Lawrence, 20th Fighter Wing Knowledge Operations Management (CCK) knowledge operations journeyman from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Lawrence has been in the military for over two years and Shaw is his first duty base. He has been deployed one time.

"Lawrence is a prime example of why the Air Force is not to be considered a 'one mistake Air Force,'" said Staff Sgt. Darius Harper, 20th Fighter Wing command chief executive assistant. "He had a minor setback early in his career, but was determined to bounce back and prove his resiliency during tough times."

When asked his favorite quote he replied, "I know life gets hard sometimes but remember one thing, through every dark night there's a brighter day after that, so no matter how hard it gets stick your chest out keep your head up and handle it," from Tupac Shakur, an American rapper and actor.

"Lawrence is a very motivated and goal oriented Airman working in 20 FW CCK always showing true professionalism," said Staff Sgt. Lawanda Blount, 20th Fighter Wing Knowledge Operations Management NCOIC of knowledge operations. "I couldn't have asked for a better Airman to serve and grow within this Air Force."
