Shameka Williams, budget technician, joined Third Army/ARCENT from her previous duty station at Ft. Hood, TX in April 2011. Williams, a native South Carolinian, was born and raised in Salters, a small town located about an hour southeast of Sumter. Q: What is your favorite movie? A: The Green Mile. Q: What is your favorite food? A: Spaghetti. Q: What are your goals? A: To make sergeant in the short term and eventually receive a commission through the Green to Gold program Q: What are you most proud of? A: Marrying a man that is just like my dad. Q: What are your hobbies? A: I like college football, especially supporting the Gamecocks - and shopping. Q: If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want with you? A: The Bible, my Bubba (her husband) and my iPad. Q: If you could spend one hour with anyone, who would it be and why? A: My grandmother who died when I was twelve because she was so wise and my best friend.
