This week's Shaw Spotlight is Senior Airman Eric Nagel, 20th Contracting Squadron contracts administrator, from Minneapolis, Minn.

"If I could say anything that defines me, I would have to say that I enjoy friendly competition," said Nagel. "It challenges me and motivates me to be better."

Nagel has been in the United States Air Force for about three years and stationed at Shaw six months.

"Senior Airman Nagel epitomizes our Air Force core value of 'Excellence in All We Do'," said Tech. Sgt. Latisha Bright, 20th Medical Support Squadron NCOIC of medical material. "He has provided outstanding support to, and ensured the mission of the 20th Medical Group during a period of considerable changes with the Air Force Medical Service Commodity Council contracts. Nagel and his counterpart immediately pulled all their resources together to begin working on a total of 33 personal and non-personal service contracts for the 20th Medical Group."

"Nagel has a "Can Do" attitude, exhibits unparalleled professionalism, teamwork and dedication to duty in order to maintain excellence in customer service and is a true asset to his unit and the USAF," Bright added.
