Editor's note: The Warrior of the Week program recognizes outstanding Airmen here who exemplify the Air Force's Core Values.

This week's Warrior of the Week is Tech. Sgt. Erica Larsen, 20th Aerospace Medicine Squadron public health flight NCOIC of preventive health assessment, originally from Hopewell, Va.

Sergeant Larsen is the liaison between the base and the clinic to ensure all Airmen are up-to-date on their PHA.

"I love that my job has something different every day," she said.

"Sergeant Larsen has been essential in improving Shaw's overall individual medical readiness rate," said 1st Lt. Jaclyn Guess, 20th AMDS public health flight commander.

When Sergeant Larsen took on the task of NCOIC of PHA, she increased the appointment availability by 350 percent and decreased the number of overdue members from 150 to 30, said the lieutenant. As a result of her efforts, the IMR rates reached 84.8 percent and placed Shaw as number one in Air Combat Command.

Sergeant Larsen recently implemented "PHA week" to expand the capacity within PHA to see even more members in order for the 20th Fighter Wing to have more Airmen medically ready to deploy.

"Sergeant Larsen is an excellent NCOIC and a model NCO for the U.S. Air Force," said Lieutenant Guess.
