Editor's note: The Warrior of the Week program recognizes outstanding Airmen here who exemplify the Air Force's Core Values.

This week's Warrior of the Week is Tech. Sgt. Lisa Wright, 20th Contracting Squadron infastructure NCOIC, originally from Las Vegas, Nev.

Her job is to purchase whatever Team Shaw needs to operate.

"The easiest way to describe it is: You name it, we buy it," she said.

"Sergeant Wright is a sharp troop and a superb NCO," said Maj. Kendric Phillips, 20th Contracting Squadron commander. "She bridged the gap for the squadron superintendent and first shirt vacancy, and the squadron never missed a beat. Her proactive contracing action averted delaying air alert communications, which was critical to the homeland security mission."

Wright serves as an academic example by pursuing a bachelor's degree in buisness administration.

She also has been an active contributor in the surrounding community by coaching the St. Anne's school girls' cross country team.
