Chief Master Sgt. Fate Retirement
U.S. Air Force Col. Freddie J. Sherman, Department of State for Afghanistan transition, logistics directorate, and Chief Master Sgt. Lefford Fate, 20th Fighter Wing command chief, read a certificate during Fate’s retirement ceremony, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. May 1, 2012. Fate was responsible for military standards, morale, welfare, training, professional development, and good order and discipline for more than 4,300 enlisted personnel assigned to Shaw.
