The 79th Fighter Squadron and the Tiger Aircraft Maintenance Unit are welcomed home by the Patriot Guard, along with friends and family on April 28 at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. after a seven-month deployment to Iraq. The Patriot Guard honored the deployment veterans with a tunnel of flags upon their return. The 79th FS provided air support for the last two convoys to depart Iraq.
