U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds fly up into the sky during their performance at the Shaw Air Expo at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., May 5, 2012. In 1992, the Thunderbirds transitioned to the F-16 Fighting Falcon for their demos. They are stationed out of Nellis Air Force Base; Nev. Thousands of visitors came to the 2012 Shaw Air Expo to see the Thunderbirds perform.
