Hands on Energy Conservation

Shaw Air Force Base takes steps towards energy conservation. In August, Shaw had an electric bill of more than $650,000 and consumed over 9,000 MWH of electricity. So it is everyone's responsibility to keep in mind the ways to get positive results for the community and the Air Force. The goal this month is to underscore how fundamental energy is to national prosperity, security, and environmental well-being.
