"Port Dogs" support 20 FW combat readiness around globe
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Steven Short, 20th Logistics Readiness Squadron cargo development facility vehicle maintainer, pulls cargo to the awaiting C-5 Galaxy on the flight line, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Aug. 19, 2011. Nine Airmen from the 20th LRS small air terminal worked to load up the C-5 Galaxy from Westover, Mass. with 68,000 pounds of aerospace ground equipment to support multiple F-16 Fighting Falcon flying missions around the globe. In the middle of that task, the same maintainers off-loaded the Boeing-737 personnel, their gear and luggage. The Boeing-737 was filled with Nellis Green Flag West 11-9 returning personnel from the 55th Fighter Squadron and the 20th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
