Defense Biometric Identification System
SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Airman 1st Class Justin Holman, 20th Security Forces Squadron member, scans IDs with the new Defense Biometric Identification System at the gate here July 7, 2011. DBIDS is a Department of Defense system developed as a force protection and identity management program to manage personnel, property and installation.
