Base gets 1,000 new trees
SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. - (left to right) Former Sumter Mayor Steve Creech, Chariman of the Sumter Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee; Preston Fout, American Forest Management; Colonel Charlie Moore, 20th Fighter Wing commander; and Bo Shaw, founder and director of American Forest Management, break ground for the planting of 1,000 longleaf pines March 14, 2011.
