C-17 Civil Air Patrol
100630-F-4406D-013 SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C.-- Every other year, Civil Air Patrol cadets, ages 12 to 21, stay at McGrady Training Center in Fort Jackson, S.C. for a week of summer camp to get a feel for what basic training would be like. On the fourth day of summer camp the cadets get the chance to ride in a C-17. This year the pilot was Capt. Edward Sutton, a graduate of the same summer program.
