21st Century Summer Enrichment Program
SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Staff Sgt. Samuel Casares, 20th Maintenance Group, helps guide a group of Sumter children from the 21st Century Summer Enrichment Program from Mayewood Middle and R.E. Davis Elementary schools through a hangar earlier this month. "Being allowed to touch the fighter jets, bombs, and other equipment added to the children's excitement," said Sumter County Council chairwoman Vivian Fleming-McGhaney, who arranged the tour.
