BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Sparks fly as Senior Airman Zach Jones, a structural maintenance welder assigned to the 332nd Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Fabrication Flight, uses a power saw to manipulate a piece of metal here, June 10. The structural maintenance Airmen are responsible for maintaining and repairing anything pertaining to the structure of aircraft, such as wings, panels and hinges. More than 50 active-duty, Reserve and Air National Guard Airmen run the Fabrication Flight shop 24/7 and complete more than 1,400 jobs monthly.
