SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C.-- Chief Master Sgt. Henry P. Gillen, USAFCENT chief of Air Traffic Control Services, places a cross of ashes and oil for Ash Wednesday on the forehead of Master Sgt. Tanya M. Carbone, 77 Aircraft Maintenance Unit First Sergeant. Chief Master Sgt Gillen volunteered along with Chaplain (Capt.) Kelvin Francis, to perform the service during an operational readiness exercise providing players the opportunity to participate who would normally be unable due to their work schedules.
