NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- An F-16CJ fighter pilot from the 79th Fighter Squadron, Shaw AFB, S.C., taxis out for a training mission during Red Flag 09-2 at Nellis AFB, Nev., Jan. 27. Red Flag is a multi-national exercise providing a realistic environment to practice combat scenarios. The experience gained during the exercise is vital to the survival of pilots in combat.
