SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Jared Dillon, one of the horseback rider group leaders in Hoofin? for Heroes, stops for a bite to eat lunch and warm his feet Saturday, Dec. 7 before heading back out on the trail at Double J Ranch in Whitmire, S.C. Proceeds from Hoofin? for Heroes go directly to the Wound Warrior Project, a nonprofit organization that seeks to assist men and women of the U.S. armed forces who have been severely injured in conflicts overseas.
