Operation Continuing Promise 2008
Trinidad and Tobago--Two Landing Craft Mechnized amphibious units transport Trinidad and Tobago servicemembers back onto the Port-of-Spain in support of Continuing Promise 2008. The servicemembers competed in a make shift Damage Control Olympics on board the USS Kearsarge. Kearsarge is supporting the Caribbean phase of CP, an equal-partnership mission between the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, Nicaragua, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
