Airman electrifies metal during weld

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Matthew Neale, 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron metals technologist journeyman, uses a pencil grinder at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., April 2, 2014. Neale used a pencil grinder in between welds to smooth imperfections in the metal. Airmen who work in the 20th EMS metals technology shop use their welding skill set to support the 20th Maintenance Group which maintains the 20th Fighter Wing’s 88 F-16CJ Fighting Falcons.
