Cargo deployment Facility

Airmen retrieve their luggage after it is unpacked from a KC-10 Extender at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Aug. 16, 2013. The 20th Logistics Readiness Squadron has recently implemented a new cargo deployment process that aims to standardize packing requirements and ensure unit accountability with the pallets they submit. The plan is projected to reduce necessary manning by 50 percent, ultimately saving the Air Force money through efficiency. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Daniel Blackwell/Released)
