Team Shaw celebrates Air Force Birthday

Team Shaw celebrated the U.S. Air Force birthday at the Carolina Skies Club, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Aug. 18, 2014. This day marks the 67th anniversary of when the 80th U.S. Congress created an air, and space force. President Harry Truman implemented the National Security Act of 1947 to formally cut ties between the Army Air Forces and Army, creating separate and equal branches.
