RED HORSE paves the road

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Jacob Membreno, 823rd Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers pavements and equipment operator journeyman, assigned to Hurlburt Field, Fla., operates a material transfer vehicle at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Sept. 10, 2014. The vehicle is used to transfer hot asphalt from a dump truck to the newly paved section of road. The drums on the steel-wheeled rollers used to pave asphalt are coated with water to keep the asphalt on the ground and not on the rollers.
