British pilot soars among Yankees
U.S. Air Force 20th Maintenance Group crew chiefs perform a final inspection on an F-16CM Fighting Falcon piloted by Royal Air Force Flight Lieutenant Benjamin Cable, 79th Fighter Squadron assistant director of operations, Aug. 27, 2014 at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. Cable is officially assigned to the 79th FS via the Royal Air Force Exchange Officer program. If the squadron is tasked with a temporary duty assignment or deploys in support of a combat campaign, Cable would go with the unit and serve in the same role as his U.S. brothers and sisters.
