Clean hands reduce likeliness of cold and flu
A U.S. Air Force Airman does her part to protect herself, and others, this cold and flu season by washing her hands at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Oct. 22, 2014. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, many diseases are spread by not washing hands with soap and clean running water. If soap and water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Ashley L. Gardner/Released)
