Parachutes precisely packed to perfection

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Kyle Denzine, 20th Operation Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment specialist, rigs a locking loop to hold down the pilot parachute to a mortar tube at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Oct. 6, 2015. These loops are replaced during every annual inspection to reduce the possibility of a premature deployment. The locking loop holds down the pilot parachute which is used to pull the C9 canopy from the ACES II container during egress.
