Parachutes precisely packed to perfection

A U.S. Air Force Airman rigs the risers of the ACES II parachute system at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Oct. 8, 2015. The risers are the lowest part of the entire assembly and connect the parachute to the harness worn by the pilot during flight. The elastic cord assembly keeps the risers secure during flight.
