20th FW receives Outstanding Unit Award

U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 20th Force Support Squadron honor guard, stand with the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Oct. 26, 2015. On Aug. 31, the 20th Fighter Wing received the award for exceptionally meritorious service from June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015. Awarded by the secretary of the Air Force, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award is given to units that have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievement that clearly sets the unit above national or international significance, combat operations against an armed enemy of the United States, or military operations involving conflict with or exposure to hostile actions by an opposing foreign force.
