Team Shaw, Sumter community fortify local ecosystem
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Brandon Duquette, 20th Civil Engineering Squadron pavement and construction equipment apprentice, plants a longleaf pine sapling at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Jan. 21, 2016. More than 20 Team Shaw volunteers and 14 Boy and Cub Scouts planted approximately 500 longleaf pine saplings around Shaw as part of an ongoing beautification and ecological restoration project supported jointly by the 20th Fighter Wing and the Sumter community.
