New IPE system set to expedite deployment process

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Martina Brazzley, a 20th Logistics Readiness Squadron Individual Protective Equipment journeyman, moves boxes off a conveyor belt at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Nov. 13, 2015. Headquarters Air Force mandated that all IPE shops change from their current system, the Mobility Inventory Control and Accountability System, to the Integrated Logistics System-Supply, by June 1, 2016. To support the changing systems, Brazzley and her wingmen will spend the next seven months unpacking, sorting, and storing approximately 100,000 pieces of IPE.
