New IPE system set to expedite deployment process
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Scottie Crumb, a 20th Logistics Readiness Squadron Individual Protective Equipment supervisor, attaches a gas mask to a gas mask tester at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Nov. 13, 2015. As part of a new mobility storage system, Crumb, along with the rest of the IPE shop, will test and store every gas mask owned by the 20th LRS, to ensure its quality before distributing it to deploying Airmen.
