Congrats to 20th MDG’s AFMS award winners
U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Heather Perez, 20th Medical Group chief nurse holds a sphygmomanometer at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Feb.12, 2016. Perez was the recipient of the Air Force Medical Services Outstanding Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award. Perez is responsible for ensuring nursing standards of care and practice are upheld by all nurses and medical technicians, as well as being an advisor to the 20th MDG commander, executive committee and staff agencies concerning nursing policies, plans, and programs.
