Weather Airman views forces of nature
U.S. Air Force Airman Shayne Welsh, 28th Operational Weather Squadron weather apprentice, uses a Kestrel 4000 to measure wind speed at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., April 26, 2016. Weather Airmen utilize kestrels to take observations of current weather conditions to include wind speed, temperature, dew point, and air pressure. Kestrels prove viable in deployed environments where Airmen have limited computer access. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Christopher Maldonado)
