Team Shaw recognizes Arbor Day
Representatives from the South Carolina Forestry Commission, 20th Fighter Wing leadership, and 20th Civil Engineer Squadron personnel stand in front of a newly-planted Overcup Oak tree on Arbor Day, April 29, 2016, at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. By holding an annual Arbor Day observance, maintaining a forestry department and tree care ordinance, and spending more than $2 per capita on trees, Shaw has earned “Tree City, USA” status from the Arbor Day Foundation for the past 18 years.
