Engine pushed to the limit

Gordon did not stop going to work while going through surgeries and chemotherapy except for the days she had chemotherapy appointments and when she was recovering after surgeries.
Over the course of three years, Gordon went through a year of chemotherapy and three surgeries and is now in remission with no visible sign of the tumor returning.
Gordon was diagnosed with a malignant giant cell tumor that grew inside her left carpal bone.
Aaliyah inspired Gordon to persevere through a year of chemotherapy treatments, reminding her each time that the pain would “only last a little bit.”
