20th Fighter Wing earns Meritorious Unit Award

The Meritorious Unit Award is presented to active duty, Reserve and Guard units for exceptional conduct and outstanding achievement in direct support of combat operations for at least 90 consecutive days during a period of military operations against an armed enemy of the United States on or after Sept. 11, 2001. The 20th Fighter Wing at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., earned the Meritorious Unit Award for outstanding service to the United States in direct support of U.S. Air Force Central Command objectives from June 1, 2015 to May 31, 2016.
