Giving thanks for Airmen

The event was a coordinated effort between the Sumter community, local businesses and the base.

The picnic, hosted by the Sumter Chamber of Commerce, was free for all active duty service members and Department of Defense employees at Shaw.

During the picnic, Team Shaw leadership and volunteers from the Sumter community served food to picnic attendees in order to strengthen the bonds of friendship and patriotism.
