Decades of development
The 20th Station Medical Group, shown here circa 1953, provided medical services for military members of Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., just as today’s 20th Medical Group does for current service members, retirees and dependents. Throughout its development, the 20th Medical Group provided care both stateside and overseas, assisting in locations such as Virginia and the United Kingdom. (Courtesy Photo)
