Connecting with all audiences
Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., published its first newspaper in 1942 and continued publication until the base began focusing on distributing news electronically in 2007. Due to reader demand, independent publisher Camden Media Co. began publishing The Shaw News that same year. Since 1942, the Shaw paper has undergone several name changes to include the Shaw Field Flight-Line, top, The Shaw Spirit, middle, and most recently, The Shaw News, bottom.
