20th LRS suggests vehicle precautions
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Cody McDonald, 20th Logistics Readiness Squadron customer service noncommissioned officer in charge, removes tires from a truck at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., March 23, 2017. The tires needed to be replaced due to low tread. Tread can be tested using the “penny method:” if a penny is placed upside down in the tread of a tire and President Abraham Lincoln’s entire head is visible, the tread is considered low.
