Brian Barnes, 20th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 55th Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) tactical aircraft maintainer, applies a base layer of paint to a mural in the 55th AMU at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Feb. 10, 2017. The mural, extending across an entire 12 x 5 1/2 foot wall, took Barnes a total of nearly 55 hours – stretched across four months – to complete.
