Airmen fuel Shaw’s mission
A U.S. Airman assigned to the 20th Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels distribution flight, prepares to perform maintenance on an R-11 refueling truck at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Aug. 10, 2017. The fuels distribution flight is responsible for the maintenance of the trucks, ensuring they are safe to hold nearly 6,000 gallons of Jet A fuel, which is enough to fill approximately four empty F-16CM Fighting Falcons.
