Team Shaw members stand for a photo during a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a functional fitness area in the main fitness center at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Oct. 6, 2017. After the ceremony, five volunteers competed in a test circuit consisting of exercises such as box jumps and rows. The area features more than $96,000 of new equipment for Team Shaw members to stay fit to fight. The main fitness center team plans to create functional fitness classes in the future.
