79th FS ‘Tigers’ roar in Raptor Country
A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 79th Fighter Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., flies through the skies of Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., during Checkered Flag 18-1 Nov. 7, 2017. During the two week-long exercise, more than seven units sent aircraft, Airmen and equipment to Tyndall with a participate in Checkered Flag 18-1 and concurrently running Weapon Systems Evaluation Program to focus of units being evaluated on their ability to mobilize, integrate, deploy, and employ combat air power assets on a larger scale while tactically integrating with the various fighter squadrons.
