AFCENT hosts first Senior Enlisted Leaders Conference
Royal Air Force Chief of the Air Staff’s Warrant Officer Jake Alpert discusses an issue with U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Kaleth Wright over a video teleconference during the first Senior Enlisted Leaders Conference Jan. 8, 2020, in Sumter, South Carolina. The senior enlisted leaders in attendance are from the U.S., Australia, Canada, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. The conference, lasting from Jan. 6 – 9, consisted of participants describing the enlisted force structure of each country’s air force, a tour of Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., and discussions of how to strengthen and develop the leadership of the noncommissioned officers in their respective service.
