A Viper Innovation Cell and CATM Collab - Shaw AFB Implements 3-D Printed M-4 Magazine Speed Loading Ram

A case of 3-D printed M-4 Magazine Speed Loading Rams (MMSLR) wait to be transported to the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) range at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Nov. 8, 2023. The Viper Innovation Cell printed 42 MMSLRs to improve efficiency and safety at CATM by enabling service members to load an entire 10-round strip clip at one time, eliminating the need to insert 30 rounds in the metal magazine by hand.
