Shaw aircraft resume night flying

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --

Flying activity will increase as late as 11 p.m. Tuesday to Friday.

Night flying will resume Sept. 14 and continue through Sept. 17.

These flights provide F-16CJ pilots the opportunity to train with night-vision equipment and practice tactics that are critical to survivability in combat.
